Shipping
Most orders ship via UPS or Truck from our Des Plaines, IL warehouse. Specialty Store Services regularly researches carriers to provide you with the best prices at competitive rates and we always pass our discount down to you.
UPS Shipping
Items delivered via UPS are brought to your door, but not brought inside.
Truck Shipping
Truck shipments are not unloaded from the truck nor brought into your store or residence unless pre-arranged. If you need the item unloaded or brought into the store, it can be arranged, but here is an additional fee for this service. With White Glove service, the shipment will be professionally packaged, strapped to minimize damage, and the carrier will assist you in delivering the item inside the store or residence.
Back Orders
Occasionally, an item is not in stock on the day you place an order. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged for the item until it ships from our warehouse. Items will ship as soon as they become available.
Drop Ship Orders
All Drop ship orders ship directly from our vendors and requires prepayment. Items drop shipped from our factory partners will ship separately from items shipping from our warehouse and may take additional days in transit.
Please note: Because items are shipped directly from the vendor, we cannot accept the return of drop shipped merchandise.
Custom Orders
Custom items cannot ship same day. Please allow 2-6 weeks delivery for most custom merchandise. Delivery times are also dependent on the complexity of the product.

Preassembled Orders
Pre-assembled items cannot ship same day. Please allow 2-6 weeks delivery for most custom merchandise. Delivery times are also dependent on the complexity of the product.

Canadian Orders
Orders shipping to Canada are subject to duties, taxes and brokerage fees. These charges will incur after your order ships.
International Orders

Shipping to Trade Shows, Hotels, or Temporary Locations
Shipping merchandise to an off-site location, such as a trade show, convention center, hotel, etc., is possible. Please call us to discuss the guidelines for shipping to commercial venues.
Receiving Your Shipment
At the time you receive your order, inspect your shipment for missing or damaged merchandise. Any missing or damaged cartons are the responsibility of the trucking company, and you must indicate such on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. The consignee is then responsible for reporting the missing or damaged merchandise to Specialty Store.
Return Policy
Your complete satisfaction is our number one priority. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-871-2768 within 30 days from receipt of your order to request a Return Authorization number. We will advise you on how to return the product to us for a replacement, credit or refund. Returns must be in original condition and packaging or will be subject to a restocking charge.
Please note: We cannot accept the return of custom, imprinted, perishable, or drop ship items.
