This work mat fits the bill to a "T"! The only drawback is that is does tend to move a few inches seemingly on it's own. It surprised me how light it was, but it's a great investment for a small area. I set it up in front of my 8' counter since I'm often standing there for long stretches of time. On a carpet covered concrete floor, that can be awful on the back, but this mat makes all the difference in the world!
