We have a small movie rental store (two locations) in S. Florida. We use this to make sure we provide good product going out and get it back in good condition. We charge for damaged returned flicks. If they don't like it, let them go destroy my competitors stock. Real $aver in tight times. Estimate of ROI = 60 to 90 days.

Comments about CheckFlix Disc Certifier:
I use this unit to check mostly DVD's before viewing. It has saved me time and frustration by flagging problems before hand. I appreciate it's accuracy and ease of using because when it's identified a problem disk I can clean it,then retry it and see imediatly if that was the problem or not. The unit I have has proven pretty repeatable and accurate.

Comments about CheckFlix Disc Certifier:
Used to check incoming (loaned out) DVD's for the science club. This little thing can be set to catch the smallest scratch (usually readable on ordinary players) all the way to gross (visable, unplayable) scratches. Needs to be set up though for proper use. Setup is relatively straightforward, especially if you have marginally damaged DVD's. Great little device.

We got one of these to check our internal library of CDs and DVDs. Lets us know if they have been damaged, need replacement, etc. VERY easy to use. We are seeing about 95%+ accuracy.

Machine gave many false/inaccurate readings. Movies I had just watched, it said were no-good & Vise-Versa. Could not rely on it.
