Comments about Door Chime Alert:
This definitely has a niche. However, I have given the last one away because I was sooo embarrassed by it's quietness. I can't help but wonder about the similar one made by Thomas & Betts#DH994. It has got to be louder because anything softer and ho human will hear it! This is easily fixable with a stronger ceramic magnet. What are they waiting for?

We installed the chime to our office suite entrance door and metal door frame in less than 20 minutes. It's really is a "green" type solution for needing a door chime as it uses no power source, just the magnet.
The chime is loud enough with out being annoying to anyone in the office.

When deciding to purchace this product understand that it does not use batteries and works off a magnate system. It will be mounted on top of the door and some parts will need to be drilled into the door frame. This product was not ideal for us because we did not want to drill into the top of our metal door frame.
